Now Hiring a Surgery Veterinary Technician

Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists is seeking a full-time technician to join our Surgery team. If you enjoy working in a fun, collaborative, positive, and fast-paced environment with highly skilled, board-certified veterinary professionals, this position may be what you are looking for.

Job Description

The surgery technician works collaboratively in a team setting to provide high-quality patient and client care. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to; assisting with appointments, phlebotomy, advanced diagnostic imaging, managing and monitoring a wide array of anesthetic cases as well as other surgery department needs. Surgery nurses are also involved with all aspects of client communication and are responsible for their patient’s well-being during the entire hospital stay (outpatient or inpatient). To be considered for this position, candidates must have 1 to 2 years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting. Certified veterinary technicians preferred but not required.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm. Pay range is $24-35/hr depending on experience and education.
