Neurology Veterinary Technician

Now Hiring a Neurology Veterinary Technician 

Burlington Emergency Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) is seeking an experienced technician to join our new neurology department.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with appointments
  • Running MRIs
  • Prepping and assisting with spinal surgery and spinal taps

Neurology nurses also perform all technical services for neurology patients including venipuncture, urine collection, IV catheters, restraint for exams, induction of anesthesia, and administration of medications. Nurses are involved with all aspects of client communication in person and over the phone and are responsible for their patient’s well-being during the entire hospital stay (outpatient or inpatient).

Qualified candidates must be certified veterinary technicians with a minimum of two years of experience in a general practice setting.
