Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician

Now Hiring an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician 

Burlington Emergency Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) is seeking an experienced technician to join our growing internal medicine department.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with appointments
  • Running CT scans
  • Prepping and assisting with ultrasound, endoscopy, thoracoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cystoscopy, including running anesthesia for these procedures

Internal medicine nurses are also involved in chemotherapy administration and radioiodine therapy treatment. Nurses are involved with all aspects of client communication in person and over the phone and are responsible for their patient’s well-being during the entire hospital stay (outpatient or inpatient).

Qualified candidates must be certified veterinary technicians with a minimum of two years of experience in a general practice setting.
