If you’ve visited us recently, or if your pet ever needs urgent care in the middle of the night (which is usually when emergencies happen), we have some wonderful news to share. The emergency veterinary team at Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) in Williston, VT has grown, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce three incredible veterinarians who have joined us to care for pets throughout the greater Burlington area.

Whether you’re a longtime BEVS family or you’re just discovering your local 24/7 emergency animal hospital, we wanted you to meet the people behind the scrubs. Because at the end of the day, that’s what BEVS has always been about: real people in our Vermont community, caring for your pets like they’re our own.

Dr. Adrianna Desranleau-Stinson, DVM

Dr. Stinson’s story is a homecoming in the best sense. Originally from Milton, Vermont, she’s thrilled to be back in the Green Mountains after years of training elsewhere. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary concentration right here at the University of Vermont, then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Michigan State University in 2025. From there, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, gaining broad, hands-on emergency and specialty experience before bringing her skills back home to Vermont.

When she’s not treating emergency patients at our Williston animal hospital, you might spot Dr. Stinson out on the ski slopes, pounding the pavement on a run, or hiking a Vermont trail with her partner and their two dogs by her side.

Dr. Adriane Kida, DVM

Dr. Kida brings both deep emergency medicine experience and a real love of community to our team. Born and raised in Rhode Island, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island, where she also met her husband, Jamie. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University in 2016, and spent several years practicing in Washington state before she and her family made the move to Vermont, closer to her husband’s roots, to build a life surrounded by nature and community.

Dr. Adriane Kida, emergency and critical care veterinarian at Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists
Dr. Kida is passionate about clear communication, compassionate care, and being there for pets and their families during the moments that matter most. Her professional interests span emergency and critical care, internal medicine, dentistry, client education, and low-stress animal handling, a philosophy that shows in the calm, reassuring way she approaches every patient who comes through our doors.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Kida loves spending time with her husband, their two children, and their dog, Stormy. Whether she’s hunting for beach glass, cycling, hiking, trying out a local restaurant, or digging in her garden, she’s always finding ways to enjoy Vermont’s outdoors.

Dr. Saige Papariello, DVM (aka “Dr. Saige”)

A Vermont native through and through, Dr. Saige graduated in 2026 from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee, fulfilling a dream she’s held since she was young. Caring for animals isn’t just her career; it’s something she’s known she wanted to do for as long as she can remember, and that passion shows in the high-quality, attentive emergency care she brings to every patient.

When she’s off the clock, Dr. Saige enjoys working out, spending quality time with family and friends, or simply relaxing at home with her dog and four cats (yes, four!). She’s also looking forward to getting more involved with local Vermont rescues and shelters, lending her time and expertise to help address the animal welfare needs right here in our community.

Dr. Saige is deeply committed to providing calm, compassionate care during life’s unexpected emergencies, helping pets and their families navigate even the toughest moments with confidence and support.
